When In The Sky IT was founded, it was built on a wealth of hands-on experience spanning almost every corner of the cloud technology landscape, from infrastructure and security to migration, management, and beyond. That breadth of expertise has always been central to our identity as a cloud consultancy, and to the confidence our clients place in us. However, we have always believed that honesty about the boundaries of our knowledge is just as important as the depth of it. Founded by in 1985, BNI is now the world's largest networking organization with 41 years of continuous growth. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of Members have unlocked exponential business growth through BNI and the power of referral marketing.


In The Sky IT became a member of BNI in early 2026, joining the Graphene chapter based in central Manchester. BNI (Business Network International) is built on the principle that trusted relationships between professionals are one of the most powerful drivers of sustainable business growth. By joining our local chapter, we have embedded ourselves within a vibrant community of like-minded business owners who are committed to supporting one another through the sharing of referrals, sales leads, and commercial opportunities.

Membership of BNI extends beyond simply expanding our network. The British Computer Society is a professional body that represents those working in IT and computer science, both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Founded in 1957, BCS has played an important role in upholding the profession of Information Technology, accrediting Chartered Status for its members, and creating a global community of IT Professionals.
